Ecstatic Dance

This dance is a spiritual practice where we consider the dance floor as an energetic container. We build the energy as a group to create doorways into other realities, altered states of consciousness. Don Juan states the world consists 48 bands of energetic eminations, only 2 of which are perceived by ordinary human perception. It requires some shift to begin to perceive some of the other 46. Ecstatic Dance joins meditation, chanting, prayers, fasting and other techniques as a way to achieve this. In this way Ecstatic Dance is spiritual practice. Some consider it is the oldest of all of humanity's spiritual practice.

What planet am I from, you ask?
well let's see now,
that's a good question.
Not something I have
thought much about lately.
Glad you asked!

I have traveled vast stretches
racing across space and time.
A couple of galaxies were just
a quick lunch stop
on my way down the road
enjoy a greasy burger and fries
tip the waitress
