What do you appreciate most about The Peace Church? Please Introduce Yourself

I was invited here by Rev. Lana, the woman to whom I have adopted as ohana, family. Online is the way that I meet most of my new friends. Lots of people believe that this is a risky way to do things, but for people like myself it is one of the only ways to get to know people before you meet them. Believe it or not, the written word holds a lot of power, especially for a writer. I am a writer.

I grew up "in the church" and grew out of it as life events started happening, events that would change the course of my thinking and more, my believing. I believe that there is a God, but I have a hard time with a lot of religious belief systems and I am pretty sure it is because there is no freedom in many of them. I would rather be part of the world fellowship, never minding the idea that because I do not pray the way that a lot of folks do, I am somehow not worthy.

So, that is what I am doing here. I love this site and the people in it are the absolute most Divine I have come across in a long, long time.

That was a very touching post! I do grew up "in the church" and lost myself and my faith somewhere along the way. Thankfully, I found it again a few years back and couldn't be happier. I love it and my new life.

I'm glad that you found "family" and found your way back to God and let him into your life. I hope that you find everything you are looking for here and in God's word.

Blessings all x, my name is julie (aka) sunflowerjj i have been seeking a site of this kind for a long while and now thanks to lana on blogtalkradio, i was found my way here finaly i can be of more service for our greater good. I have always felt within i have a great urge to HEAL in all aspects, so i pray by being here this site with inspire & help me achieve this by putting in to practice what i already know must happen, i look forward to learning many new ways in which i can aspire to help others for the greater good at the same time help with my own unique spiritual growth. amenxx

Hi Everyone,

This is Tysha. My husband Chris and I are traveling the USA on a peace Tour. Our next STOP...Santa Cruz, CA. I am so excited. The peace Church is growing with amazing people each day. I am so happy to be connected with such truly fabulous souls. My passion is helping people and animals. I love all beings and have found true lifelong friends here at the peace church. My husband and I have a lot of Peace projects we are working on and we have so many people that have come forward to help us. I appreciate them so much. One of the projects I am currently working on is the Peace Garden, or Reiki garden. Please check out my group and if you want a rock painted for you or someone else, please let me know. Each day I sit in my garden and send love, light, healing, peace, an reiki energy to the garden. I how powerful this is because I have experienced much healing, myself, through people sending me prayer and Reiki. In fact I was in the hospital, for what was suppose to be a year (terrible accident). I had friends and family from all over the world sending me Reiki on a daily basis. The doctors told my family I was recovering so fast that I would be released from the Hospital sooner than I thought. OF course my family knew it was all the prayers. They call me a MIRACLE. I was released 3 months later. I was also not expected to walk......anyone who knows me now and see's me dancing and doing yoga will tell you.....I CAN WALK, dance, prance, swim, and play all day. For this I am so grateful because I know have a knew appreciation for LIFE. So my point is.........Reiki, prayer, energy, good thoughts/vibes sent to people works in ways we cant always understand. However we know it works and that is why I am dedicating my life and purpose to my Peace Garden and sending out good energy every day to all my friends and family to request it. Hello Everyone,

I was introduced to the Peace Chruch back in October of 08 through an invitation form Chris and Tysha on energyishealing.com. It's lovely to see how much it has grown.

The thing that I appreciate most about the Peace Church is that I can be myself on my spiritual journey and I am supported by all you lovely seekers as we all grow. I love that my beliefs are welcomed with an open mind and that everyone is so helpful when I have questions, those who have gone down my same path that can be of assistance gladly help out in my awakening. I love the love and positive energy that everyone brings, and the example that we are setting for the world to see how easy it is to unite as one in love and respect. We are doing great things here, and together are helping to create a shift in the collective consciousness.

Hi all, what a wonderful thing to do. Mother Earth & the whole Universe needs as much Love & Healing as is possible at this time. I'm aware that more and more people are awakening to who they really are and with sites like this for us to join with, we can help that process in a Graceful and Loving way. I was invited to join on Facebook and with all things Reiki couldn't keep my nose out, so here I AM!!
I think what you are doing is absolutely brill and have even considered starting a Reiki Peace Garden myself! I have many friends who are into Reiki and will let them have all the info.

Hi Everyone
I, like Linda, found my way here from joining the group on Facebook. The passion, love and energy I saw there inspired me to come here and I am so happy I did.
I have walked a spiritual path for as long as I can remember...
I work with disabled adults as my 9-5, my passions are all types of drumming, working with sound vibrational healing such as Himalayan bowls and tuning forks. I am a part of a community that works with Sacred Native teachings and sacred Inipi ceremonies (sweatlodges) here in Wyoming. (near east gate of Yellowstone Park). Our goal is to fuse the old with the new and, like this site, honor all traditions as holy and sacred...All Parts of the Whole.
Long ago, I dedicated my life to following Spirit and it has led me down some interesting paths and I truly felt like I was led here. I am excited to meet you and call you my new friends.

You have caring and supporting individuals that will take time out of their busy day to help a fellow human being. You are all deserving of a thank you. Not too long ago, I came to ya'll with a crisis, and through the direction of Kevin Lewis I was able to deal with my problems. I believe him to be a godsend, and an excellent minister of your church. Hi everyone, my name is Debbie. Wow what a journey. Mine started about 2 years ago or so when I met Chris on veghaven, I was just getting sober and healing in so many ways. I was so drawn to his energy. I watched from afar as he grew and just followed timidly in the background soaking up tidbits here and there. And then came along Tysha and Greg, the Peace tour, Spread Peace, The peace Garden, and The peace church and the whole time I was on my own recovery journey until finally I got to a place where I was open and ready for all the healing energy. I am so drawn to Chris, Tysha and Greg, The Peace Church! I want to learn and experience, I want to continue to heal and learn to give this back to others...I have done so much damage in my past..I want to move forward and spread peace! So please be patient...I am new and just coming out of my shell...love is a new concept to me...but I am soooo willing and open and ready!
