The Peace Church

As we continue our 10 day vigil, I have wondered how many are continuing to hold space for Mother Earth and the Hawaiian Islands. There definitely is still activity. It is important to know that our responsibility doesn't end with Earth Day. I am grateful that Universe created time and space for all beings to be aware; however, there is much more work to be done. As I continue my meditations each day sending love and healing energy to the Islands and to Mother Gaia, I received this message yesterday morning. As always, when I receive a message from the Great Mother, I sit with it a bit. Sometimes, if I am not clear of the message, I ask Her. But this time, the message is very clear to me. As I sat with it, I created for myself a space of frustration, and (I'll admit it) anger. Frustration and anger at myself and at actions of others I have come into contact with - frustration and anger at the world population. If holding this space is difficult for me and fellow lightworkers and healers, how much more difficult for others. After all, I reminded Mother, we are so enlightened - ha, ha. So here is her message. I suggest you read it, re-read it, and sit with it for awhile.

"Such questions my children are asking. You want to know if this is enough. You school others on disposing of trash and waste, reserving resources, cleaning toxic waste from my Waters, but you do not listen to the toxins of your minds. While you concern yourselves with human created waste and litter, you ignore the waste and litter of your minds. You continue to hate those that are different, fear those you do not understand, belittle those that have less, envy those that have more. You allow your egos to rule your lives - nothing is ever enough. This is what I would say to you when you ask me if what you are doing is enough - NO! I hear the cries of those who are in pain. I hear the cries of my children who are suffering. I hear your souls crying with the hatred you have for yourselves. Because of Our connection to all life and your connection to Me, what you do and say to yourself and one another, you do and say to Me. The toxins spewed forth from your minds and hearts are far worse that those you toss onto Me.

I would rather see you throw one particle of waste onto my Body than to hear you tell yourself that you hate yourself and your neighbor. I would rather feel the sludge of one oil spill than to feel the sludge of your hatred for yourself and others. You can clean up the waters and the lands and it will never be enough. Not until you clean the thoughts and toxic beliefs from your mind.

Without love for yourself, you will never experience love for Me and for your Brothers and Sisters whether they be 4 leggeds, 2 leggeds, those that fly and those that swim. One true act of love and kindness reaches farther than one piece of trash picked up. Unconditional and compassionate love travels like ripples in a still quiet pond. Once you cease the angry and hateful thoughts toward all others, then it will be enough. Love yourself first! You cannot love others if you do not love yourself. That is what I would say to your question - Is what we are doing enough?

Dear Ones, do you not understand that Love is the key to all healing? When you love yourself, you will love Me and my Land and Waters. Show that love to yourself - be a guardian of those that need your love the most. Be to others what you would have them be to you."

Wow.

What a poignant piece of writing this is. This is beautiful an powerful and all those words that describe how hugely important this is.

I live in Los Angeles County. Everyday I am given the opportunity to see this toxic state of mind within the population. I have been guilty of this and because of this I am positive that there are more changes which need to be made. Love is free, it is forever, it is the same as Wisdom, as knowledge, as all those things that we each need to make it through our days and to dream vividly throughout the night. We have much to learn from one another if we can bother to stop hanging on to those old hatreds, those old judgments, and those old assumptions that we see in ourselves and project on to others.

We protest those things we feel is somehow not good, but those things are only not good for us singly. We want to be able to remain how we are, claiming that it is our individuality and not our mask that we hide our hurt from the world with. We want badly for others to take us seriously, to listen to us, and to want to help us, but we do not want to do these very things for our own selves. Lana's visions are not only earth based - they are spirit based, and Gaia is right when she tells you that Hawai'i is very much endangered. There is much hatred there - old stagnant hatred. The local people hate those who are not from there, even those of us who share ethnicity with them. The sad thing is that this hatred is born of ignorance. My people cannot see much more than their own plight, and what they do not realize is that their plight is not the land, but their fight for their land. We were not meant to abuse one another because there are people who tell us that because this is typical it is also normal and acceptable.

There is too much hatred, too much anger and too much judgment. We are all guilty of these sins - no one is immune, but there are those on this planet who live in these toxins because it is all that they know. THey are so afraid to let the light of Love be part of their lives, afraid to show the world what it is that they can do and afraid of perceived losses that they cannot let it all go. Fear is the thing that keeps us physically ill, makes us crazy with envy and greed, compels us to hurt when instead we should be building up others. We would rather continue what it is that we are doing because we are used to it. Change is uncomfortable, and if changing our inner world means that we do not get to hang onto our pain then we will sooner hang on to the pain because for some of us, it is the only thing that we "have."

What a thing to lay claim to - pain. Then what happens is this pain becomes illness, and this illness becomes permanent disease, then one day, while we lay in a bed somewhere, lost of hope and happiness, we want the world to love us, and it does, but we cannot love it back, because we never practiced it while we could.

It is never too late to love. Love is the thing which will heal us all, which in turn will heal our planet.

Love is not something that you feel when you have met the perfect person. It is everything you see, feel, know, Are.
